Speedometer cable question for my 75 C10 with a 700R4

Can anyone verify the correct part # for the cable I need? The one on there is definitely wrong (screw type on both ends, doesn't even connect to the dash). I will assume the last owner had someone install it but it doesn't work. Will a stock cable work even though I have a 700R4 (350/auto)? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Speedometer cable question for my 75 C10 with a 700R4

How long is your cable? Sounds like you have a cable for a cruise control. I think they were threaded on both ends. Then the normal cable to dash connects to the second port on the cruise control head. PO may have had plans for a cruise control to go with the 700r4 swap.

Normal setup is a short, 18" or so, cable from the speedometer gear unit in the transmission, then either the cable to the dash or the cable to the cruise.

Sorry, no clue on part #'s. I normally do my shopping for things like that at the local pull-a-part.
