1971 c10 ac delete compressor help

Hi I've got a 1971 c10 that I just swapped to the l31 vortec heads. With the different angle of the intake manifold bolts I'm unable to use the stock ac bracket. I just want to get the whole thing out of there because the ac doesn't work anyway. I'm just confused by what to do with all the hoses. If anyone could help me out that would be awesome! Also if anyone has any links to good throttle brackets for vortec heads that would be helpful too- I'm running the summit 600 carb which I'm pretty sure is manufactured by Holley.

Re: 1971 c10 ac delete compressor help

Most of us are spending big bucks to get our a/c up and functioning again and are sorry that somebody removed it along the way. If you take it out you limit the time in your truck to mostly winter driving. People on here will buy your items that have been removed but I suggest you hold onto them for when you realize you want to reinstall it. One thing most forget is that A/C is also a dehumidifier. The more you run it the more humidity is removed from your cab and keeping rust to a minimum.
