1972 GMC 3/4 ton 4wd F/S

Hey, this truck is from alaska, so it has low rust. low geared, 4speed with posi and lockouts. very well mantained running gear. complete truck without motor. it has a 9k winch mounted in front frame thru bumper. electric brake system. ex bed floor , lots of dents from, ( he said animals, moose, bear, elk, etc. receiver hitch tow package. would be great for a blazer guy. no pix till after charlotte. any interest at $2000? have had two PM looking for these so there must be some interest. tnchev

Parts

Hello tnchev,

Pretty much that is what most members seem to do. Talk to each other on someones post. I suppose it is OK as everyone seems to enjoy it (I do it too). I have been busy and have not had time to work on my trucks or even see what parts I really could use. It is good to know that there are some new parts out there with a new member. I am sure you probably have some parts I need and I am keeping your PM for when I have more time to work on my trucks. I used to list parts for sale on this board but got tired of listening to the ongoing critique of my parts or prices or going through the trouble of packaging, weighing and figuring postage for someone who wants the part - then nothing (don't hear back from them). If I happen to see that someone on the board is looking for a part that I have I will usually contact them. I still sell a lot of parts but on Ebay. You might have better luck there and will surely make more money off your parts. I am not knocking the members on this board as they are always ready to help answer any questions that I might have about these trucks or motors and I have purchased many needed parts here. Heck, members have given me parts and vice-versa. It can just get frustrating selling parts here. This is a very good board and probably the best 67-72 Chevy truck board I have seen.

Welcome!

Take care,

Ernie

P.S. I tried to send this message via a private message (PM) but your mailbox is full and you do not have an email address listed that I could send this message to. Didn't want you to think that I was ignoring you - just could not get through so this message is hitchhiking on your post . No one can send you any PM's until you delete some of the old messages. These mailboxes do not hold very many messages and it does not take long to fill them up. After you delete old messages from your inbox go to your sent messages and delete as many of those as you can as they count too. Took me a while to figure this out so I hope it helps you.

Is this truck in Knoxville right now?

What motor did it originally have?
