Steering column for 79 C10
Hi
I need to change my steering colum becouse I bought a new transmision (700 r4). I'd like one with column shift and tilt Could you recomend me one for my 1979 C10 Custome Can I install a 78 with out modifications? Thanks a lot |

I think the only major difference through the years was the windshield wiper switch location and associated wiring.

What was the original transmission? Pretty sure if it was an automatic, all you need to change is the gear shift indicator.

The original transmission was a mechanic with column shift.
I'm installing a 700r4 transmission and I'd like to maintain the column shifter Icould buy a 84 column. Could be install in te 79 truck? Thanks a lot for any Help Last edited by nacho_73; 06-23-2017 at 02:25 PM. |
