cant be right, $100 for clear sidemarkers???

am I seeing this right? why in the world are clear sidemarkers running $100 nowadays for our trucks??? I'm a sucker for clear sidemarkers on a dark vehicle, but I don't want these that bad...

I got some for a third gen Camaro last winter for a whopping $18

what in the world made this things go up so outrageously high???

Re: cant be right, $100 for clear sidemarkers???

Not sure why, but I too like the clear lens look, they look sharp with LED's. But it's not just our trucks:

I had clear taillights on my 01 Honda CRV at one time, along with the headlights & marker lights. I didn't pay a whole lot for them, they were aftermarket after all. But after a few years, I went back to the stock taillights and put the clear ones on Ebay. I started the bidding out at at maybe $10 and then Buy it now for $25 for the set. People starting bidding, so the Buy It Now went away. Buy the time the auction was over, they sold for a whopping $450.00. I thought, what the H#LL!!! I thought for sure I would get stiffed for the payment, but they paid and was quite happy with the lights.

( Don't give me grief over the Honda, it's my drive to work vehicle, as in I work there ) My other 2 trucks are just that, TRUCKS. 86 C10 & 06 Chevy Colorado

Back when they were cool, I found a set in a thrift store for a whole $5. Now, I really prefer the look of stock lights. Orange and red lights look good with any color
