55/59 COE cab in South Dakota auction
Someone posted the link to this auction on FB and going though the offerings I found this 55/59 ?? Coe cab and chassis. Bids end Monday the 26th but the price is still within reason. Some interesting stuff there for low bids so far including a few AD and TF trucks.

That is a pretty straight truck. I see a couple on there I'd like to have but I don't know if I could get up there by the time they want them out of there.

Re: 55/59 COE cab in South Dakota auction
That would be the deal for me. No time off to go after one if I did win the bid. The shortest route for me is 1138 miles from my front door to their front door. If you put their address in a map search and go to the satellite view and zoom in that is a big yard that had a lot of cars in it at one time.

I bet it was a honey hole 15 years ago. I'd really like it if they'd let you chop the frame behind the cab so I could get 3 on my trailer and make it worth while. Haha

Lotsa neat stuff but no time and no money for the projects I already have! Although this '76 Nova looks like it could drive right outta there.

My guess is that who ever buys a bunch of them for scrap would be ticked to get that frame and it's weight for hauling it off.

Re: 55/59 COE cab in South Dakota auction
no offense to guys that like these 55-59 coe, my brother calls them "pig nose" trucks and I tend to agree. does anyone have a picture of one finished up that will change my mind?
my friend in ark city has one he offers to me every time I see him. the price just keeps getting cheaper haha.
