Adding this 90' GMC short step to the herd!!!!!!!!!

Latest acquisition that has not been picked up yet but, I thought I would share............. 90' GMC Sierra SLE stepside (slightly customized by a conversion company before hitting the showroom floor). Everything is as it was back in 90'...............lowered 4.5 / 6.5 with C notch. Sounds awesome and runs like a scalded dog!!!!!!!!!!! Up 1st, will be new shoes and shocks. Just some teasers for now.............. my 98' WT is going on down the road to my buddy for his DD.

Re: Adding this 90' GMC short step to the herd!!!!!!!!!

Still some more. Pretty stocked about this one. I have grandiose plans to pull the 454 / TH400 out of my 74' long bed parts truck, rebuild both, and drop it in this little gem. I am calling her " Jezabelle " at the moment. After 50+ hour weeks all year, I decided to go out an buy myself a Christmas present...... rebuilt motor with 8K miles on it

Re: Adding this 90' GMC short step to the herd!!!!!!!!!

Loving the way it sits but, I need some recommendations on some new tires. She is currently sitting on 23/70/15's on all (4) corners. With the amount of drop that is on it, the bottom of my fender lips is 27.5" all of the way around

Re: Adding this 90' GMC short step to the herd!!!!!!!!!

Going to brave the cold this afternoon and finish replacing the front shocks, change out the starter and see if I can get the damn nuts of the manifolds so I can replace the y pipe. Wish me luck

Looks great! I had a 90 Chevy Stepside back in the day that was white with blue on the bottom. What size tires did you opt for?

Thanks buddy. She is currently sitting on 215/70R15 all of the way around. Puts me a little over an inch to the bottom of the fender lip all of the way around. These should hold me over until I decide on going bigger.............I love this thing but, it pains me not to be driving it at the moment
