Thanks for the nice comments the seat material is from SMS Auto fabrics out of Oregon The 19.5 wheels i had to hunt for the are hard to find they made 2 types these are from 1962 to 1970 i call them the one Hump the other ones have two Humps They are prior 1962

Very nice work. May I ask what kind of wood did you use and from who. Also what did you use to paint it. Would it be durable enough to be used as a daily driver ,as that is what my truck is used as. Thank's in advance.

the wood is southern yellow pine paint is oil base satin sherwin williams rolled on

it was at the "goodguys" event -his truck was big hit there !!! i myself like the stock .looking trucks ! w/ maybe some updates ???i figured he would get picked for an award ?? BUT i do know it is a nice piece & he did a great job on it !!!! thanks for bringing it to iowa ! see ya mike wahl

Hey Mike, I'm sure you got tons of oohs and aahs over your fantastic restoration, but I'm curious if the 19.5 wheels caused a stir as well. Seems most folks (even truck guys) have never seen them before.
