More air flow for the A/C condenser

While fixing my A/C, my pressures were a little high unless I could keep my condenser cooler. I made an aluminum panel to cover the gap above the condenser. Without it I would put my hand in front of the condenser and couldn't feel much air flow. With the panel I could really feel the air coming through. I did keep an eye on my engine temps and there was no change there. I have been driving it around and everything is working good. I will be painting the panel black.

Thumbs up Re: More air flow for the A/C condenser

Air flow is a main player when it comes to AC pressures and cab temps! I would suggest you block any openings around the shroud to force the air movement through the shroud and not around it under it are as you have seen above it.
If you notice the AC temp going up at a red light you can add a electric fan to keep the temp down.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

To really seal things, I put push on door seals around the edges of the shroud.

Looks like you still have the stock condenser. What refrigerant are you running? R134a? If yes, you would benefit from upgrading condensers...
