For my money, I'll take manifolds pretty much every time. The headers should offer a slight power increase, but to me, the manifolds are much more trouble free. Manifolds are basically zero maintenance, which is, unfortunately, not the case for lots of header sets.

With the use of a setup like this:
LINK
you can have trouble free manifolds and close to the same HP as headers. This is the setup I'm going to put in but I think I can build it myself for alot less cash.

Them aluminum collector gaskets stick out a little bit and everytime I bottom out it bends that collector and then it leaks. My headers have been a pain in the butt lately. If you bend one of them flanges so much as a little bit there gonna leak forever

What kind of headers do you have, mine never hit the ground, and my front springs are sagging at least 3 inches. The front crossmember is lower than my headers are. (Hookers)

I have flowtech headers. I got a 3 inch drop up front and 5 in the rear. they don't bottom out on the speedbumps all the time but seems if I don't go at em at an angle they always do. It usually hits just enough to bend the collector flanges

Interesting...I have bottomed out my front cross member with my old worn out springs, byt my headers have never once touched the pavement.
