I must admit the old one does take some practice to get use to using it, but it does the job and was not made in China. if you were doing them everyday then there are more than likely more efficient ones out there. for the money how often are you going to use it and that new kit is also for metric and other uses which you may never use.
there is only a 30/30 warranty on it also. I see that the dies also do not hold up for long on stainless.
