WTB accelerator cable

I am trying to hook up the 71-72 style accelerator in my 70. I have the 250 with monojet. I have the pedal and inside parts. I need the cable and the bracket. I assume the bracket is different than the rod style. If anyone has a picture of one mounted it would help a bunch. Thanks

I have these.

You should note both pedals are complete with bolts and cable retainers
You can borrow my firewall template for a $10 deposit if you want

Re: WTB accelerator cable

That pic will only be correct if you have a TH350 transmission. I sold one recently that was on my 250 with a TH400. I don't have any pics with it mounted though. See this thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...throttle+cable

Re: WTB accelerator cable

Then you don't need a bracket like the one Jason posted, but it will work also.

Re: WTB accelerator cable

Thanks Stovebolt. I see what you are talking about. I saw the dimensions in the link you posted. I may be able to find a cable. The bracket would be pretty easy to make. Will it hook up to the linkage I have now at the carb?

Re: WTB accelerator cable

You would still need the bell crank that mounts on the intake below the carb, shown in the pic Jason posted.
