Hey everyone,

See if I can respond to everyone in this one post. Thanks for all the posts first of all.

AMAC, I made a list of everthing you wrote. I'm gonna pick up a Haynes or Chiltons today and read that too. Appreciate the advice.

1FaastC10, Thanks for the warm welcome! Like I said before, it seems like a great board with some knowledgable folks on here. I'm ready to start putting some miles on my GMC! I'm from Athens, GA. Forgot to put that in my profile. I'll update that. I plan on it being a work truck, but knowing myself I'm gonna start upgrading it! I want to learn about these trucks first though to see what the best bang for the buck is. Also, since it's a 4x4, I'm sure I'll have to have a little fun with it too!

Rodzzilla, I noticed it is a little tougher finding parts for 1 tons, cause they're not as popular to hot rod, which I understand. I'm going to use it as a work truck/hauler so I'll may do a few things to it, but not too much. I've heard good things about Thorley's too.

As far as the 89 model, you're right Rod, it's the style like your 93 because it's an extended cab. But the crew cabs were the old style for that year. Weird right? But Chevy likes to do that I guess. Like with the new style last time, they sold the old and new side by side for a year or so.

Thanks again guys!

Lee
