CST rear panels: anyone order a set in the last 12 months or thinking of ordering?
Larry at Truck World tells me the company he used in the past for embossing is no longer in business but he's in contact with another company. This month marks the one year anniversary since I paid in full for a set of rear panels that I'm still waiting on. For those interested in ordering a set it may be best to hold off until Larry gets this sorted out. Has anyone taken delivery of a set within the last 12 months?
I've got a set of panels that Larry made in my green Blazer and they're of very good quality. Am hoping for the same for my blue blazer.

Larry sent me a text yesterday and said he's "getting very close" - I'll post back when I get more info.

Haha my last text was for me to call SMS myself.
I'll be lucky to have seats before christmas, I'm making some major changes to my truck too, I might need more plaid for different front seats too. I hate myself sometimes hahaha

Howdy from northern Blazer country -- I ordered a set of black embossed rear panels for my 72 last summer from Tim at Classic Truckseats. He made them in a timely fashion as promised and they are simply beautiful. I will go to him for the seats when I have the budget. Cheers!

I guess LMC doesn't carry those panels anymore, huh?

Thanks - I don't use LMC but they don't list them. Brothers does but Larry makes them.

Re: CST rear panels: anyone order a set in the last 12 months or thinking of ordering
My Blazer is a NON CST model, but I have debated putting these in to clean up the rear. probably wont ever do it, but I was eyeing the same Classic Parts item that was mentioned above...

Re: CST rear panels: anyone order a set in the last 12 months or thinking of ordering
I get all of my parts from "The Truck Shop". They used to carry the rear cargo panels but have now discontinued them. I bought a pair from Brothers earlier this week. I had to pay a fortune for them, but they are in my interiors color (parchment) so I wont have to paint them, and Brothers didn't indicate that they were back ordered or that I would have to wait any significant amount of time before I would receive them. Hopefully everyone on here gets their panels soon.

My latest text from Larry, who makes these for Brothers as mentioned earlier, indicates he's abandoning the embossing on the premium upgraded vinyl I paid an additional (yes that's additional) $650 for in lieu of the typical vinyl.

You wouldn't happen to have contact info for a Truck World? I need a couple more covers made up and misplaced their info.

Re: CST rear panels: anyone order a set in the last 12 months or thinking of ordering
DeadHeadNM, It's been about 2 1/2 weeks since I placed to order and still no panels from Brothers. It wouldn't surprise me if it took a couple of months. I don't mind the wait if the quality is good. They did send me a letter with the "receipt" inside and it said that the panels would ship separately. Assuming that if they are sending my receipt separately instead of just having it be in the packing slip they are expecting it to take a while. I will give it a couple more weeks and then I will see when they expect it to ship. I'm not in too big of a hurry, my seat covers and carpet are back ordered for 6-8 weeks anyways.

Re: CST rear panels: anyone order a set in the last 12 months or thinking of ordering
Thanks for follow up. Larry says mine will be shipping soon. I'll post up when I get them. Definitely worth a reasonable wait in terms of the quality and my last set took about 5 weeks. I'm 13 months out now

These are quite easy to make on your own for a fraction of the cost and the patterns can be found on this site. I can't imagine, why anyone with access to a table and jig saw wouldn't take on this weekend project.

True, its easy to cut out the shapes and cover them in some fabric. But its the embossed pattern vinyl that matched the original material that people want.

Thanks for the follow up. Sucks to be me I guess - I ordered mine from member Truckseats. I'll pass the info along to Tim. Maybe folks need to order through Brothers.

Re: CST rear panels: anyone order a set in the last 12 months or thinking of ordering
After filing a dispute with PayPal Larry Nease of Tuckworld cranked out the panels over a weekend and these are now in my possession. He bilked me out of a lot of cash.
I've posted a review here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=740358
