Rear brake caliper id
I have a 8 lug disc brake rearend in my 72 jimmy and the caliper is hanging up and trying to get another one but obviously it didn't come with them. Couldn't find much for numbers on them except 499,188, and R stamped into it can u guys help

Hard to tell from that pic, can you get one from further away?
If I had to guess, I'd say it's a caliper from a 73-87 3/4ton front axle. That is the standard caliper for an 8lug disc swap. To narrow it down even more, most kits specify to use a 77+ one, though an earlier will bolt on just fine. |

Thanks here's a pic of the entire caliper from backside il try to pull the wheel off tomorrow and get the front view dont know y but when I uploaded it the pic got flipped around and I don't know how to fix it if anybody can tell me how to fix that in edit post
