2wd slightly lifted? Pics?
I'm trying to get ideas for my build and had pretty much set my sights on shortening my long bed and building pro touring style. The thought occurred to me since it was my granddads truck and its going to be my daily driver when finished, maybe I should leave it a long bed and not super low. So, if I decide to do that I might want it slightly higher than stock. Ill be taking it to work every day and hunting and fishing and wherever, I just want it to be usable everywhere I go. Not for mudbogging just a little more clearance. (Its replacing a 2012 F150 LOL!) Its going to be like new with an LS swap and all but cant decide on the look. I am wondering if anyone has any pics of 2wd trucks maybe lifted a couple inches maybe on 31" tires or so and if so how did you do it. I know this has been covered a few years back but just looking to see if anyone has found a good way yet.

Re: 2wd slightly lifted? Pics?
I havnt seen many of these 2wd lifted. I am like you and want this to be a well fitted daily driver for me. I have read that we can lift the front up about an inch or 2 by replacing the front coil springs with c-30 coil springs.

Yeah I read that too but I don't want it to ride rough....

Re: 2wd slightly lifted? Pics?
That's been my worry also. But I don't think they should be too bad. Rear suspension is usually what changes the most per weight class. Front suspension is kind of more based on motor size

Lol yep that will be a concern since I'm planning 4.8 or 5.3! Maybe it's not to bad.

Re: 2wd slightly lifted? Pics?
I have also thought about a 2wd lift, and ran across this post. I think this would be the best way to go ... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=447061

72 C20 with (2) 1in coil spring spacers in each side. I would love to get new springs and go just a bit higher.

Re: 2wd slightly lifted? Pics?
That's worth looking into with just a small block you could even out the rear.
