Building a bench.

I have had these pieces all from different trucks lyi g around the yard waiting g for me to build this thing for years now. Well today I had nothing to do since I am waiting for parts for a truck I am working on so here's what we got so far. All welded and done. I have to make my wood floor for it and paint a set of hubcaps for the wheels but what do you guys think?

Re: Building a bench.

I like it. I happen to have the same color tail gate with the same dent in it in the middle. Nice work on the bench. I've been holding onto some bed pieces for just this same thing.

Looks cool!
I threw this together with leftovers a few weeks back and thought of making a thread too.

bigrigpardo and Shinysideup, great job, now if you are single, put it in your living room.
If you are married and want to become single, put it in your living room!

Re: Building a bench.

I had the same idea for my parts truck. I'm going to flush mount it to a concrete retaining wall and use the tailgate as the bottom seat. Also going to wire up the lights to come on at night with a timer just like my gas pumps do.

Please post some pics when you do this. It sounds really cool to me!
