Nor-Cal Trip to pick an 1980 3+3

So in a few weeks pops and I are going up to Redding, CA to pick up the new to me 1980 GMC Serria Classic Camper Soecial 3+3. We are taking the train from Southern Cal to Redding.

What are some cool places to stop and check out on the way home. Most lilkely taking the 5 home. I know some parts are boring but what can I do.

The hays truck and ag museum in Woodland is fun.

The sac auto museum near old sac is fun.

Visit historic locke south of sac. Eat at Als place, you will never forget it.

Once past stockton on 5 real boring.

Have fun travel safe.

Sounds like a cool trip with your dad. Let's see some pics of the truck you're getting.

So besides the seat the A/c need to be recharged/rebuilt. Guy says it run like a dream. Has a lot of extras on it Alcoa Rims, air bags, hidden tow hitch, 2 front door panels. That wing is badass old school.
