Sounds like it's time to call your states insurance regulators even your own insurance company as you should have had at least 30 days coverage instantly when you bought it unitl it could be photographed for the file.

Where in Nevada did the truck come from ?
I have a second home in Reno. I just hauled my 72 unrestored short bed down there last month and the locals are are all over it. I thought that I would just blend in.
On your truck. If you have not settled with the insurance company , I would hold off on doing any repairs untill you are totally done with them.

It sounds like it's time to stop playing nice, you have been patient wayyyyyy to long. The more you wait the more you will get pushed to the back burner until no one will even know what happened. Best of luck to you.

The truck came from Elko NV. Amazing how rust free the cab and bed are. I have not done anything to it to even begin restoration. Just some minor cleaning up of the cab interior and removal of the caravan.
