Re: LT1 GenV swap

Great work! I'm looking for more info on the compressor for the AC. I have a Gen 4 Magnum Vintage Air unit, just found out they do not make any brackets for the Gen V LT1 motor. I would like to mount it back in the original location as I have cut my center cross member on my 57 chevy, so lots of room.
My Vintage Air dealer suggested I use a fixed displacement compressor from a 2008 to 2010 LS block and modify the mounting brackets from there?
Any other company making components for there AC systems?
Thanks in advance.
