Replacing a 305 with a 350?
Well I believe the time has come to make the swap or pretty near, but we need to know what is involved, I mean brackets for power steering, ac, altenator, and then: starter, bellhousing, flywheel, intake/exhuast manifolds, distributor, motor mounts, pulleys.
There is no smog pump, just an egr valve. Were looking at replacing it with a carberated engine, nothing fancy since it still is a daily driver. What will work and transfer over or need to be purchased for this swap? This is a 82 c10 with the 350 automatic and since were in phoenix it still has to pass emission testing. Depending on the year of 305, the exhaust manifolds might not bolt up at one bolt.
