Seat help??
I might be picking up an '86 GMC Sierra Classic tomorrow. I'll be attaching some pics of it, it has the original motor. My question however is about the seat. I've never seen one like it and the owner says it's the original? I haven't been able to find repos online, it's tore up and I'd like to find a cover for it or something until I can afford to get it recovered. Any help is appreciated. This is my 3rd square in a little over a year and I'm still learning all the nitty gritty things about them lol
Also anyone know what to type in google to find those wheels?

Re: Seat help??
I've never seen seats that look like that in an 86. They were original to something, but not to the truck your looking at.

Re: Seat help??
You are close. That is made by the same company(s) that made van interior conversions. It is not factory installed but it very well could be an original seat as bought by the original owner. Dealers dressed vehicles up. They would go mild to wild, it all depended on the perceived marketability. They would have an add-on sticker under the factory one with the add-ons they did. the add-on price would reflect the upgrades and sometimes it was a huge amount. They usually did this to Plain Jane models to get more for them. I worked for GM dealers back then. I saw it all the time.

Re: Seat help??
Whoever put that seat in there probably chose it because the bolt holes matched up. So worst case scenario just get a new seat. Shouldn't be too bad on the waller and it will look good!
