Finally Home '72 Step 4x4
Hello, I have finally located and purchased my father's 72 GMC he owned when I was a kid, my brother and I plan to restore in memory of our father. Any help in where to begin locating parts (especially in southeast region) would be greatly appreciated. This will be our first build and we are so excited to finally have this truck home after so many years trying.

Very cool. I too am restoring my dad's 72 that he bought new. It was restored several years ago by an uncle that I sold it to and whoever did the work stripped a lot of it's character, all the chrome, paint, AC and second tank.. it is slow going but it is coming along. You will get a lot of satisfaction by putting your hands to it and driving it.
