Power Steering fluid seepage
I changed my power steering lines last week because they were leaking from the flare seal. No more leaks from the flare but I am getting a little seepage from the threads now. I know you can put thread sealant on the intake bolts to stop the oil seepage from the bolt threads.... is this something that I can also do the threads for the PS lines? It seems like every time I get something fixed on the truck something else decides it also needs to be fixed.... funny how that works!

Re: Power Steering fluid seepage
If it's leaking from the threads it's leaking from the flare. When hot, back it off a bit then re-cinch it. Should be good.

Re: Power Steering fluid seepage
x2 --- If it still leaks, examine the flare and the ball it compresses against.
