How thick should brake shoes be?

On the rear of my C10, the brake shoes were like 1/16th" thick. Should they be like ¼" or something?
BTW: I figured out I had to have the drums ON to bleed the brakes, hahaha.

Dammm!!! I'd definately replace those pads ASAP. The rear shoe pads new has about 1/4 of a inch of meat on them, and they should be replace at about a 1/8th.
lol, my cousin did that with me right next to it. He put his foot on the peddle faster than I could get the drum back on, and all this brake fluid went everywhere. lol If you need help doing your drum brakes, or bleeding i'll help you on one of my days of of work.

Hahah, yeeeaahh..when I get some money, I will put on new Shoes, and also new rotors/pads up front. Thanks for the offer, PM me your number dude, I friggin lost it.
