Vent window won't open - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Been messing with my 70 c10 that I bought a few weeks ago and last night I tried to open the vent window on the drivers side but didn't have much luck. It seems the latch handle is maxed out but wont clear the metal to allow it to open. Any fixes?

The only thing I can think of for that would be to try a little penetrating oil. Also try pushing in on the glass from the outside while you turn the handle and see if that helps.
