'63 Stepside -- Running BAD

My son's '63 Stepside:

Stock corvette 1965 327, X Heads, 1406 Edelbrock(BRAND NEW), headers, HEI(BRAND NEW), new SPARK PLUGS, NEW PLUG WIRES

It was running fine, then out of nowhere it started 'acting up', the best way to describe it was that it ran like it had 'bad gas'

So, being an amateur, all I've done is throw parts at it with zero results.

Fuel System:
1. BRAND NEW Fuel Cell
2. BRAND NEW 3/8th Fuel Lines
3. BRAND NEW Fuel Filter
4. BRAND NEW Manual Fuel Pump
5. BRAND NEW Fuel Regulator
6. BRAND NEW 1406 Edelbrock
7. NEW 100% Gas, 91 Octane

Ignition System:
1. BRAND NEW HEI Distributor
2. BRAND NEW Plug Wires
3. BRAND NEW Plugs gapped at 35

I've messed with the timing, nothing helps.

Right now it's 10 BTDC

It will be idling so-so(just doesn't sound right), then when I put it in gear it immediately dies. If I hold my foot on the brake and keep the RPM's up, it barely will run while in gear. Currently it is undriveable.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Once again it was running just fine, then out of nowhere with no changes to the truck being made or even a screw being turned it started running bad, and it's been nothing but downhill since...

thanks

Vacum leak? Is that Edelbrock carb not sealing at the base? What intake manifold do you have?
