LMC Vent Windows

Has anyone tried LMC vent window assemblies, if so how did they fit? They seem to lack the crimp at the top where they slide into the window frame.

Re: LMC Vent Windows

I'm not sure about LMC vent windows, but I am really impressed with the vent windows we ordered from Summit Racing. They were actually made by Auto Metal Direct (AMD). They feature quality construction and nice fit even in repro doors. We ordered the green tinted glass and the tint is perfect.

Totally cost with free shipping was $438, but they came complete and ready to drop in.

Re: LMC Vent Windows

While not a prefinished vent window, i used a kit from The Truck Shop of all places to rebuild mine and was thoroughly surprised at how well they worked. I used a combination of small screws and the rivets and they were really solid. Took two people to force them closed to lock them but after a week or two in the summer, the rubber relaxed to a very manageable, tight fit. Certainly not what I'd expect from that company.

POP, did you also buy that side window from summit? Is the quality on that good as well? I have one of my original side windows which is foggy, and I can't clear it up, no matter what I try, and I've been toying with buying a new one, but I've been concerned whether the green tint would match the rest of the windows.

Re: LMC Vent Windows

not a fan of LMC for parts, seems pretty much all that I order is not made with quality and doesn't fit right. I ordered my vent windows form Brothers. I have yet to install them but they look like they are good quality.
