Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

So yesterday, I was at a shopping mall. I was driving the old '65 Chevy because the water pump went out of the damn Dodge. Back of Ol Blue had about 10 cases of bottled water, some other ****. As I was just about to leave, a bunch of Japanese tourists came up and ask if they could take pictures. I'm thinking "Oh, of the truck. ".
None of them could speak English very well. .
So I got out and let them take pics, which drew in some other people, who started asking questions- What year? How's it run?, ect.
It was the weirdest thing. Ol Blue is a tourist attraction.

Pic of Ol Blue:

Spent a few hours stripping my passenger door down to the bare metal along with the door jamb. Took care of some rust issues before they get out of hand. Replaced the door check, and wire wheeled my sill plates and got them repainted.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

started out with a good weekend.....after changing out a bad fuel pump that has kept the old girl sitting for far to long, went to start her to find the battery dead....no biggie. Charged her up and nothing, battery was dead. So after another $150 bucks for a new battery finally got her running and spent the weekend quite happy, drove her to get her washed and gassed and whatnot. Started to drive her to work this morning and almost there heard a huge boom from under the hood and smoke started pouring out. After looking under the hood, the upper radiator hose burst, completely blew in half and sent fluid everywhere. Another $40 for new hose/fluid. Now I get to wash out the engine bay tonight because I cant tell if the smell is coming from the fluid that covered my engine block or if I messed something up when it blew.
