Does anyone here have an MSD distrubutor in your truck? I have one and need to wire it up... i also have a mallory hyfire6 for it. they show the wiring diagram but i remember reading on here that our stock setups have a resistance wire built into them... do i need that or do i make myself a new wire? sorry for the tricky question just trying to get everything figure out before this weekend so i can finish wiring it and fire this bad boy up!!!!!

I have a Mallory unilite but not the hyfire unit. According to Mallory if your not using the hyfire you use the resistor wire, but when using the hyfire, you must run a new 12 volt ignition wire.
