Re: 1984 K30 single cab dually...Craigslist
That is a good find, seems healthy and price is good. I never get these guys who run with their mirrors flipped out all the time. Heck, I rarely need to flip them when towing...unless it's something really wide. I always did with the camper since it hung wide off the body. Who would want all that hanging out there when it's not needed? Doesn't matter here, that's a good truck for the money.
Hey, what part of Maine do you go to? Not S/E is it? My sister and brother-in-law (old friend) live by Sebago. He's my old 4wd buddy back from the start. He bought a nearly new '77 K30 dually Silverado and we fitted 9.00-16s on it way back then. He'd be a great guy to hook up with over a sandwich or cold beverage.

His family always vacationed at Biddeford Pool, His grandfather on down to uncles and aunts as well. He and my sister always went up and that's where they want to stay. He likes the cold, but also has 711 acres of hardwood, a big shop with floor heated by wood heater that also heats the house. So the shop is always warm.

Re: 1984 K30 single cab dually...Craigslist
He probably does, when he needs something from the big city. I wish I had a chance this summer to run up. Not happening at this point. Speaking of single can dually K30s.He bought a barely used '77 Silverado with all the bells & whistles (4spd) from a traveling insurance guy that said it rode too rough for him. Not too rough for me, but certainly not as good as a Cadillac or whatever he should have bought. We fitted up studs and spacers to run 9.00-16s on that thing way back when. He made a step bumper with 4 x 6 tube laid flat (4" high) that wrapped around the corner and into the fenders. That was a sweet, and tough, truck. He's a truck guy from way back
