Help with my first lift/wheel/tire setup
Hey guys I've got a 2000 Silverado 1500 that I'm planning on lifting within the next month, and getting tires and wheels sometime in the spring. I'm looking at the 2.5" Rough country level lift with some 18x9 Worx 808 wheels that would have -12mm offset and 4.5" backspacing on some 285/65r18's. Anyone else use this lift on their trucks? If so what are your thoughts? I'm also not an expert at offset and back spacing. (just went by what Rough Country recommends) Any pictures of a similar setup would be appreciated as well. Thanks

Re: Help with my first lift/wheel/tire setup
I don't have experience yet with lift and tire combos ..just bought a 02 stepside z71 and plan to run 18x9 with a 0 offset and some 33x12.50 grapples or swappers with a 4inch lift. Custom offsets has a ton of pictures and ride to look at

Re: Help with my first lift/wheel/tire setup
I have never ran anything under a 6" lift on my IFS style trucks. One has a tough country lift and one has a RCD lift on it both have been great lifts with barely any issues just the normal front end parts wearing out being lifted is all. I have heard anything under 3-4" won't amount to much of an actual lift not sure how accurate that is just heard it a lot.

Re: Help with my first lift/wheel/tire setup
Out of the two lifts which one do you prefer ? A 6 inch lift will work 35 12.50 or 35 13.50 is better ?
