Re: Old School Patina 67 SWB Build
Seems like staying on task with this project keeps getting harder. I'm understanding more how people take years to do this.
After serious flooding in SW Missouri this weekend I did start back on the truck. Rear limited slip install is done! Other than installing axle shafts. Now on to the drum breaks, below is what we started with. |

Re: Old School Patina 67 SWB Build
Looks good keep up the good work. I left my home in Missouri yesterday and had to take 2different routes back to Tennessee for work because of the flooding.

Re: Old School Patina 67 SWB Build
Subscribing to the build. I'm a neighbor to the south. Just picked up a 72 C20 and a 71 C10 in the last couple weeks. Getting ideas for both. Where do you get your info on swap meets? I know i've missed some in Springfield.
Thanks for the inspiration, keep it up.

Re: Old School Patina 67 SWB Build
Honestly I just grab swap meet flyers at one for the rest of the year. The big one here is in August.
I finally got to work on the truck and had a few buddies over for shop time. It's been a very fun Sunday. Rear axle rebuilt, limited slip added, all new brakes, and started running hard lines. |

Re: Old School Patina 67 SWB Build
So 2 months and no real progress. But I did pickup a gm crate engine instead of building my stroker. 19210007 is 330 hp so should be fun still.
Goal is to have a roller by the end of June. |

Re: Old School Patina 67 SWB Build
Well good news and bad news. Bought a 19210007 gm crate engine for truck. So stroker will get saved for another time.
However due to upcoming move, I'm going to have to sell the truck. Look forward to a time in future where I can try this again. |

Re: Old School Patina 67 SWB Build
With the crate engine and everything I have but the stroker engine I'd like to get $3,300 for it. I think that's very fair for all the new parts.
Or swap for drivable rig. |

Honestly it hasn't changed since last pics. Body is still off, parts are labeled and in totes or new in package.
