brake lightrs

needing a little help... the previous owner rewired my truck with a kwik wiring and the rear turn signals don't work correctly as they both flash at the same time and i think i chased it down why. he splice the 2 wire brake light power and brake light switch together and ran that to the tail lights. from the research i have done it looks like it needs 1 power to the switch then 1 wire to the turn switch.

and then i am guessing it would get brake light through the turn signal wires?

if this is correct what wire would i tie this into on the turn signal switch?

Re: brake lightrs

nevermind....... i found the wire it needed to be connected to in the turn signal switch (white). once i hooked that up and removed the power wire going from the switch to each tail light it magically worked.
