Re: 1965 repair manual
You can't, because they don't exist. You buy a 1963 manual, and the 1965 supplement.

Re: 1965 repair manual
They sell the workshop manual but like it was said, you have to get the supplement for your year.

Re: 1965 repair manual
For these, it looks like LMC and Classic Parts are close to the same price.
Usually though, LMC is more expensive on everything.

Re: 1965 repair manual
Damn. I just called and added the 66 supplement to my order. Why wouldn't they just put them together in a package for each year.

Re: 1965 repair manual
i think the manuals are worth every penny they cost.
I was lucky, when i bought my truck in 1969 the original owner had left the '63 manual and '65 supplement in the truck, they saved me hundreds of dollars over the years. I recently bought the manuals on CD, transferred them to my laptop and my tablet. I can take the laptop out to work on the truck, and when i am away from home i can read and study my manuals without having to bring them along.

Re: 1965 repair manual
This isn't LMC or anyone trying to make more money - they are simply selling reproduced originals the way the originals were grouped - and the originals were published as a full manual at a major design changeover point with supplements thereafter. Same as was done for many vehicles in the 60's. I'm glad they reproduce them. We'd be kinda screwed otherwise.

Re: 1965 repair manual
The correct year shop manual and supplement, and a factory assembly manual, should be the first purchase every truck owner should make. The factory manuals will answer 95% of questions.
