Vent windows chrome removal
Just as the title says can I remove the chrome trim from the vent window assembly? My truck has a bit of a blacked out look so I don't want any chrome around windows. Or does it need to be there meaning I'll have to paint on top of it?

Re: Vent windows chrome removal
Some trucks didn't have chrome. They were black from the factory. I think you would be better finding some that were factory black to keep from messing up wind noise and water infiltration. Also, the long strip channel will be stainless, the smaller triangle part will be chrome.
