Cab Swap 68-C10 / 72-K20 ?

Alright guys, I found a great deal on a 68 C-10 A/C cab and was thinking about buying it and putting it on my 72 K-20. Is there any difference? I would rather not discuss the VIN issue.

This is a just wondering idea. My cab is in rough shape so I'm thinking of this just for the A/C. Cab corners, half floor pan, pieces of drip edge, etc...

Thanks

K20 would be a "big hump", the C10 is likely a "small hump"...I think

My '68 C/10 w/SM465 4-speed is a high hump from the factory.

ebrake setup will be different on 67-68 compared to 69-72. As far as high hump vs low hump...all trucks that were 4x4, manual (on the floor) transmission, or big block received a removable high hump. Also a difference in rear view mirror mount if that matters to you. A minor detail is that '72 also had vent in driver door jamb which also affected placement of the vin tag.

Gas pedal mount is different also. Pretty minor differences so far.

67-68 cabs have a different fuse block size and orientation in the firewall. As previously stated the E brake is hand operated while yours is foot operated requiring that change. I think the 71-72's had a vented gas tank.
