I just wanted to thank everyone for your help!!!! 67 chevelle nailed it, It was the wire that ran from the distributer to the starter. I ran a new wire from the distributor through the fire wall to the ignition terminal and that ***** fired right up

. My dog thanks you too since it's his truck I'm just the driver

in your first post you stated it had good spark.

Maybe it was good, but not quite good enough.

It had spark but I don't think it was enough to keep it going
