rolling cab on its back side - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Ive got my truck completely apart now. Cab is on rollers in garage.
I plan on laying it on its back (back window side). So I can work on the bottom of it.
Do you guys see any issue with this. I think it should be structurally fine. But thought i should ask the experts on here.

I did that to weld up the dozens of holes previous owners had drilled through the floor for various things, including different seats. I also took the opportunity to seal, paint, and then finish the underside with some heat resistant acoustic coating.

I did set it on wood planks with a couple of 4x4s notched for the drip rail. I had a couple of friends help me with tilting, lifting, and setting the cab down.

Piece of cake, I used 4'X8' plywood on the garage floor.

I placed a piece of heavy carpet onto a pallet and set the cab onto it with the help of a few friends. It worked out very well. If you're painting the interior, it's a good time to strip the roof as well. Sanding above your head isn't much fun.
