Exhaust Heat Valve/ Actuator Rod
Fellas- I'm removing my EFE system. Questions:
1) how do I remove the actuator rod from the exhaust heat valve? It's hard to tell how it's connected. Can I just pop it off with a screw driver? See pic from under chassis. 2) once removed, how do I know the valve is in the open position? |

Re: Exhaust Heat Valve/ Actuator Rod
Might be easier to replace the valve with one without the flap, the Truck Shop sells one that is gutted.
