It's a 3500hd, pretty much a medium duty truck. 15,000 gvw and a solid front axle with leaf springs on the front. The only thing those trucks have in common with the smaller ones is the sheet metal and the engines and the transmissions. The frame and suspension are way different. It has giant disc brakes(front and rear) from the factory. I'm pretty sure the pads and calipers are the same front and rear.
