Got an engine the other day.... with a few bonuses

The other day a co-worker told me his dad has a 350 just back from the rebuild shop.. He was planning on putting it in his burban...

But either the city or someone else decieded they wanted the truck more
than he did... so its gone...

Anyway, my co-worker said his dad wants to get rid of the engine for $300 am I interested... and I said well sure, but I dont have a stand for it, he says my dad said you can use it untill your done... alright I said I will go buy and pick it up...

I get there (Kema) and we load up the engine in the back of my truck, I pay the man and he says, hang on a sec... and Im like, okay.

Here are some freebies he says.
#1. 650 Holley carb WITH the rebuid kit.
#2. Crane Performance Cam.
#3. Performance Lifters.
#4. Mallory 8 point distributer.
#5. Holley Dominator Intake.
All still new in the box, with the exception of the Carb.

Needless to say, I hugged the man!!!

Tell me what yall think..

Thats one of those deals that sounds too good to be true. I mean c'mon 300 bucks for a fresh 350? You can hardly buy a running used motor for that. And free brand new **** worth several hundred dollars?

At any rate, you got a good deal.

Most people wouldn't pass up that deal anyway, no need to ask questions.
