Front drum anchor bolt
I need the front drum anchor bolt that holds cylinder and springs. Any place to buy one? 1968 chevy c10

How did you remove it? My driver side will not budge, heat pb blaster, impact,and breaker bar failed for me

I'm converting my drums to disc, starting tomorrow...
You can have one of the ones currently on my truck...67 C 10...so long as I can get it out. I will pm you tomorrow after I get it out...

Mine was driver side too. Man I had to cut the nipple off so could get a better grip. That didn't work so I had to cut the brake cylinder off and then cut the piece that was behind brake cylinder. It came out easy after that.

Have the anchor pin and lock plate out and cleaned up for you.

I have had much success using an 1 1/8" deep impact socket over the bolt, smacking the end of the socket with a 5lb hammer, then using an electric 1/2" impact gun...
If it doesn't come out, I usually try tightening it, then trying the reverse direction...have removed probably 100 this way... "Fire24"...parts are ready to ship, just waiting on IRMA to finish her run...

The smack on the deep socket is to loosen any rust within the threads...
The impact saves many a skinned knuckle...trust me... Timing of impact...not important...
