Re: 50 gas tank
Mustang and Blazer don't work as well as a 67-68 Camaro for a 1950. The frame is much wider in the back on a 50 that it is on a 55 up. we ran the fill though the left fender, but you could do a bed fill or rear fill.

Re: 50 gas tank
check this link ouit. an 49-52 chevy car fuel tank installed in the rear of a 65 chevy truck. the fuel fill is at the rear corner and the tank is not too deep. dunno if it would work for your application though.

Re: 50 gas tank
How much is that 68 Camaro tank and how did you mount it exactly?

Re: 50 gas tank
Check out the 62-67 and up to 70 Chevy II /nova tank also. It is only 8 3/4" deep. (38 wide 19 3/8 and 8 3/4) It has a center rear exit.
