Hickey Sidewinder winch find
I came across a Hickey Sidewinder winch on a 74 blazer. It came with the original mounting bracket, solenoids, hand switch, cables, manual and hang tags that the owner saved. Probably the first time its been off the 74 K5 blazer since it was first put on. It works when pulled but I'm going to go thru it.
Would this be considered as a worm drive winch? |

Re: Hickey Sidewinder winch find
I also picked up a Thor/ Desert Dynamics winch along with the mount for a K5 Blazer.
Between the Hickey Sidewinder and the Thor/ Desert Dynamics which is the better winch? |
