Should I buy 2 Blazers?

Just a quick question. I'm looking at 2 blazers, one is a 72 4x4 and the other is around a 79 2wd. The 72 is shot bodywise but I wanted it for parts. The 79 has rust as well and a bad transmission. Neither one has a title. He wants $500 for both, but I just offered to buy the 72 for $250. He refused the deal. Is there any worth to the 2wd without a title so I can recover my money back. I guess he might still take the deal for the two. I assume the 2wd blazers are kinda rare, so maybe the frame might be worth something. But without a title, I'm not sure.

thanks

Just how shot is the body on the 72'? I've had guys tellin me that they've seen rust buckets selling for 1500.00-3000.00. There are ways to obtain a title, hehe. You can probably find out how if you do a search here on the board.

you might be able to part the '79 on CK5.com (interior, good body panels, etc.) Like Big J said, depending on how shot the body is on the '72, it might be worth more than the $500. Offer him $400 for both.

What I remember of the interior of the 79 is clean and in very good condition. The 72 has no top and has been rained in for some time. If I got it, I would throw a tarp over it until I parted it out or sold.

If you buy the pair, depending on how deep in to Tx you are, I could be a player for the 79 if it's somewhere near complete. Just a thought .

I am 100 miles south of houston. The 79 is complete. I still need to get in touch with him to see if he will go for the deal. My dad turned ill, so that slows things down for me.
