69 one ton

Hello all. I just picked up a 69 2 wheel drive one tone dually with a dump body. One thing I know I want to do is put in power steering but already seeing that most parts and mods done are for the 1/2 ton. Do I need different parts for a one ton power steering swap? Also looking for some 8 lug dually wheels to fit this and still has split rims and bias tires. Thanks

Welcome to the board first off. The ps boxes are the same in all the series of trucks. Inlines and small block pumps are the same. You can use later model wheels, 73 and up.

Thank you. That should make things go better. I was looking up the VIN number today to try and figure out what motor I have and according to that it's actually a 3/4 ton dually. Lots to learn again

Still on the trailer. Hoping to make it into a sharp work truck that I can use by spring.
