Re: 1970 C30 Car hauler Buildish thread.

Not much of an update I have been super busy with work and other small project and a little renovation.

I started tearing into the cab. removed the outer rocker.

Then I drilled out the rear of the floor to cab spot welds.

Then I cut out the old rear floor section and support.

I did a quick test fit

Looks like I will have to make a center floor section

So I decided to drill out the rest of the spot welds the mount the rear of the floor to the cab. I before I drilled them out I made some bracing.

So my current doors are shot so I picked up a set on CL That I thought were in good condition. But they had been poorly repaired. They replaced the outer lower skin and lap welded it together so I get to re do that and I may also replace the inner lower as well as it has a few small holes and speaker cut outs.

I also picked up a new fender that had been damaged right after it was installed its an easy fix my fender has a lot of bondo and rust.

I did a quick test fit of the door and fender
