I imagine most people do this with the cab-on; probably a lot easier to saw and chisel with it off though.

I was going to use this conversion kit until I ran across a short bed donor truck. I just swapped frames. If anyone wants a deal on this kit I have one for sale! Its a pretty heavy kit so shipping would probably kill you if your not in Louisiana.
