73-87 Bench Seat Restored/Rebuilt Charcoal

Restored bench seat with new Charcoal Vinyl/Velour Deluxe cover. Original foam was used with a rebuild kit. Frame & tracks were sandblasted and repainted. Tracks lubed for better slide. New Black Hinge Garnishes with new screws.
This seat is original for the 81-87, but it will fit in any 73-87 Chevy or GMC Truck.
Pickup is preferred but I can ship. Shipping average is about $175 due to size, weight and distance.
Cover was just installed, so once the seat is in the truck with the heat of the sun, the vinyl will tighten up and the wrinkles will disappear.

$750.00 plus shipping.

Didn't think so. Way to nice for them. Looks good bud. Is your guy using the black plastic lock strip on the front of the seat? I need one to put on a seat cover I have

Do you mean the black plastic strip, that wraps around the back bottom of the frame?

Re: 73-87 Bench Seat Restored/Rebuilt Charcoal

Is it true the later seats sit higher than the earlier seats? This would be just right for my project but I'm over 6ft and don't want to increase the seat height.

Welcome neighbor!! I'm originally from the west side of Columbus. Moved to Bellefontaine to be closer to my job.

Well they seem the same, to eye the seats side by side. The frames are a bit more beefy on the earlier seats. The frames are 73-80 and changed in 81-87. The tracks are 73-76, 77-80, 81-87.
I do know the seats 73-80 are a tad bit bigger and heavier. I would really have to put the seats side by side and measure the seat bottom thickness, with the tracks-frame-foam, to get an accurate assessment.

Let me know if you need measurements on each of the seats.

ha. Thanks. yeah I saw you were up that way.

I read on a couple threads that the early seats sit lower but there may be more variables than I'm aware of.

I have an early seat with a really nice black and red cover on it. But my truck is blue with gray interior that I'm working on. So I need to figure out whether I should sell it whole and buy one like yours or remove the cover and have mine recovered. I wasn't quite ready to do anything with it yet but let me think it over.

Where did you get the Charcoal vinyl/velour Upholstery shown above? Is it from a local guy or is it from an online vendor?

TKCR, How much would a seat cover cost? I need one for my 87 Square. Seat is in very nice condition. But the bottom cover is dry rotted. You can PM me details? Truck has Charcoal interior Thanks, Bruce
